AMENDMENT LIST 3 TO THE 1997 LIST (AL 3/97)

This amendment list is divided into three parts; first, important factual corrections such as changes needed to grid refs or lats and longs, secondly more minor corrections not involving changes of grid such as road numbers, etc., and thirdly additional points.
PART 1 - IMPORTANT CHANGES
Important factual changes, corrections or changes of grid refs., deletion of points.
ENGLAND & WALES
BGB BRYNGWN BACH. Delete this point. The North Wales GC has vacated this site and moved to LLANTYSILIO (LLS). It is understood that powered aircraft activity includes a Harvard and a Spitfire.
LYV LYVEDEN. The Welland Gliding Club have requested that their site point be changed from the centre of the field to the hangar on the NW side. Change exact point to "Hangar", add "6 NMl NE of Kettering" to description in column 6, and change grid and lat/long to "496.33 286.26" and "52 27.949N 000 35.008W".
RIV RIVAR HILL. The Shalbourne Soaring Society has requested that their site point be changed from the centre of the field to the clubhouse on the N side of field. Change exact point to "Clubhouse", grid to "432.06 161.1", and lat/long to "51 20.885N 001 32.463W"

PART 2 - MINOR CHANGES
Where descriptions, road numbers or layouts have changed, but with no change to grid references.
ENGLAND & WALES
LEW LEWES, change name to LEWES NORTH (factual change).
PRS PERSHORE. Change name to PERSHORE AIRFIELD (factual change) and description to: "W side of disused airfield with occasional high energy transmissions. P-L"
PRE PRESTEIGNE - Delete reference to B4355, this was wrong. The B4355 crosses the River Lugg by another bridge NW of the town. PRE is the bridge closer to the town centre by the church tower, on the road to Stapleton village.
